The Challenge

The Hagman honey farm in Ft. Collins, Colorado sought a full brand solution for their premium honey. The company prides itself on ethical practices in producing high quality honey and bringing a deep knowledge to their community about the benefits of conscience beekeeping and the goodness that comes from sustaining healthy bees (which in turn, sustains healthy humans).

Our Solution

We worked closely with our Bee Good to develop a name, brand identity, brand voice and messaging strategy. The focus was to hone in on the values the brand holds true to its core and leverage them throughout all touchpoints to create a consistent tone. From there, visual identity was crafted to distill those values in a brand language, that is clear, authentic, and beautiful. The Bee Good visuals and verbiage tells a unique story using their true voice.

Approachable, authentic, knowledgeable.

Bee Good Honey was created on the premise that responsible beekeeping, creates goodness for bees, for humans, and for the community through ethical practices and therefore producing a premium, healthy product.

Our logo explorations uniformly convey a sense of the brand attributes through stylized mixed typography and clean illustration. The final logo brings honor to the queen bee, and connects her to the locale of Colorado, with a stylized rendition of the state flower and nod to a mountainous landscape. The streamlined typography is light, inviting, and straightforward while the color palette conveys a connection to the earth. These qualities all speak to the influence location plays on the quality of the product, but also to that sense of community, which are all impacted by, and are responsible for, how bees and humans exist in harmony.
