Find Beauty in the Effort

I’m fired up. Today is the official first day of the year for us and I couldn’t be more excited. After the long holiday break, some rest and reflection, we are back and pumped to dive into all that we have ahead in 2020. 

It is days like this, times like this, where the passion for what we do is so real it’s tangible. There’s an energy about today that’s magnetic, full of potential and vision. We’re in a new year with a gamut of opportunities to delight our clients and their customers, and we’re ready to do the work.

In a soft-kickoff with the team last week, a magnetic quote came up, “Find beauty in the effort.” When we follow our joy, when we lead with passion, we are truly able to create and cultivate greatness.

Our team creates with love, it is one of our core values. We all have this spark and enthusiasm for the unique gifts we bring to the table; be it working with our clients, writing creative copy, crafting intelligent wireframes or bringing unique stories to brands. We care about the designs, we care about the respect and kindness we bring to relationships, and we care for each other. It is all of these elements and more that bring love to the table and propel quality to an unmatchable level. 

We also put in the work. We get our hands dirty and grind it out. We labor over the tiny details and think mindfully about the big impact and influence as a result of our strategic choices. While the work we do is challenging and complex, it’s never daunting. We enjoy the effort and push ourselves willfully into the climb.

We find beauty in the effort. This is a Five Acres mantra for 2020.
