The Challenge

Binary Tree has intelligent and robust solutions for Microsoft enterprise migration software. Their products are incredibly powerful from the backend development side and they needed a front-end solution to be equally efficient and intuitive. With a suite of several offerings in their pipeline, Binary Tree needed an aesthetic that complimented their company branding, sets them apart from competitors and has legs for scalability as their product offering grows.

Our Solution

Five Acres created a ground-up solution for Binary Tree, starting with their powerhouse product, Power365. We did a comprehensive user analysis, understanding and analyzing key personas and anticipating their primary use cases. We approached the visual creative by setting Binary Tree products apart from their competitors with a vibrant color palette, subtle textures and bold imagery.

Through the isolation of tasks, we created a user experience focused on clear directives and comprehensive data. We wrote conversational and friendly headlines and directions to help the user feel more comfortable with IT-related tasks that could be potentially overwhelming or daunting. Data-driven dashboards and "wizard" workflows allow users to easily manage and complete in-depth migration processes by offering them the information they need at the moment they need it.

We disrupted the 2016 standards by introducing dark UI and bright colors to set Binary Tree apart from the competition.

Modern imagery unifies the Binary Tree software offerings — conceptually reinforcing speed, efficiency, innovation and ease of use. By incorporating these themes with subtle textures for dimension and depth, a dark user interface, and unique jewel-toned color palette for each software, we created a cohesive look and feel for the suite of products that differentiates Binary Tree from the competitors.
